This is RTW but looks really neat. It would be great as a travel garment because of all of the different ways to wear it. The video is a little long but interesting. :)
Take care,

Interesting concept but not very practical for an older person. I can just see some little one/punk grabbing the ties & untying the garment LOL!!! Thanks for sharing Donna.

It would be really easy to make. I like it.

I actually have one of those. It's made from recycled sari silk. I've always just worn it as a wrap skirt. I tried out wearing it a few other ways (to wear over a swimsuit), but I've gained too much weight to pull off those styles.
DD has worn it a couple of times as a dress. One size fits all! ;)

Those are real popular in beach communities as cover-ups and summer dresses. It's a timeless idea. Does anyone remember tying two bandanas together to make a halter top??? I think I'd have to use four now but hey..........

I remember bandana halter tops, but I never wore one. ;)
I made a pair of wrap pants using Simplicity 4192 a couple of years ago.

I love wearing them around the house, but I would never wear them anywhere else. :anxious:

I think that style would look great on someone young and tall. Not short like myself. And they all hang long in the front and shorter in the back...that would drive me crazy, especially when I would walk past a wall of reflective glass...

Lori, I remember those wrap pants. I wore them to pool parties back in the 70's. Wouldn't be caught dead in them now. I'm comfortable in dress pants/skirt, a nice top & coordinating jacket or a sweater when I leave the house. Around the house, I wear my night gown unless someone is coming over. Then I dress as if I were leaving the house. I don't own any jeans, shorts or capri pants as I think that they look hideous on me. For dressier occasions, I wear a nice skirt, top, & coordinating jacket. I have a very simple wardrobe of mix & match pieces.

Very pretty garment, I can see my daughters liking that type of thing. I do like it, but I doubt I'd ever wear it, I'm a pants, shorts, jeans, capri girl, I think I own 3 summer dresses and one dressier skirt for winter, and I don't remember the last time I wore any of them.
