Embroidered 'Big Machine' Patches for DGS ;)

New postby icetbear on Fri Oct 30, 2009 4:27 pm

Hi gang, NanaBear from way down in Bingo :) Is it possible to get a large 'Big Machine' patch made that I could attach to a fleece hoodie? Tractor, grater, that kind of thing? Our 3 year old dgs is mad about machines, Bob the Builder etc. I'm not sure what to Google as I have only found T-Shirt companies etc. Thanks for any help, take care.

they can't make Bob the Bilder it's a copyrighted design...so unless it's a 'generic' patch, no one can make it...it can be done...all you need is a design and someone to stitch it out. (2x2, 4x4, 5x7, 6x6, 8x8, 10x10 and up..) you need patch designs...(usually people who do shirts do patches too...)

Here is a site that I found when I googled "Bob the Builder embroidery designs". http://embroiderydesignsbygina.com/list.aspx I'm not familiar with this company so I cannot attest to the quality or service. There were lots of matches online. You can just embroider the design & cut it out & applique it on his clothing. Hope this helps.

Thanks Marty :) The site is excellent. I don't embroider so now I can pass the site along to my quilting friend to see if she knows of anyone in our area that can help. Gotta love SWU people  Take care.

Designs By Gina is NOT in the US...if someone here in the US catches you with her design and it's a copyrighted design here in the US, you will be fined.

Thank you for the warning Kath :) I don't embroider so have no knowledge of copyright etc. Another poster has offered to check through her library for me. Thanks again, enjoy the day.

I don't know much about copyright but I think if it is a gift & not sold then you might be alright.
