My wonderful, sweet, amazing husband surprised me today with an early Valentine's day gift! I had told him about the deal I found on the Brother 2340cv, and we talked a little bit about it - I hesitated to buy one because I thought there were other things I should probably buy first. I did suspect at one point that he might buy me one, but he kept the secret pretty well - even yesterday he sent me a chart comparing various coverstitch machines to "help me decide." ;)

I have tried it out and it seems to work great! Hopefully I'll have some more time to play later tonight. :D

You wonderfully spoiled little girl! Great gift and great husband. Love to hear about what you like/dislike about the coverstitch. Have fun! :applause:

Kaitlin, that is a great gift. Be sure to give Bob an extra hug. I do love sewing goodies as gifts.

Yes, I am definitely one lucky woman! :D Now, the only question is what knit top to make next.
