Dee, your Singer 9117 was manufactured in 1991. I went to ISMACS & then googled Singer 9117 & scrolled down the list until I came to 9117 & it stated 1991 was the manufacturer's date.

TOTALLY Lennie! I'm always telling my husband about how cool you all are! And the great info I've received from you all :) This forum is now part of my sewing experience. It's fun and you learn and you make new friends. Who could ask for anything else except maybe a nice glass of wine every now and then ;)

LOL :applause:
Lennie & Laura,
I received my bobbins and got all the supplies for my scrunchies. I set aside Wednesday (tomorrow) to start my project oooooh I'm excited and nervous. First I got to see if I can even thread the bobbin myself ahahahahahaha  If that goes smoothly then I'm going to take pictures of my first project and show you all ;) I bet cha a nice glass of Merlot would help hehehehe.
Blessings,
Dee

I prefer whites in the sewing room -- less risk of stains.

Definitely go with white in the sewing room. Red is way to much of a risk.
