Dee, your Singer 9117 was manufactured in 1991. I went to ISMACS & then googled Singer 9117 & scrolled down the list until I came to 9117 & it stated 1991 was the manufacturer's date.

I received my bobbins and got all the supplies for my scrunchies. I set aside Wednesday (tomorrow) to start my project oooooh I'm excited and nervous. First I got to see if I can even thread the bobbin myself ahahahahahaha If that goes smoothly then I'm going to take pictures of my first project and show you all I bet cha a nice glass of Merlot would help hehehehe.

Definitely go with white in the sewing room. Red is way to much of a risk.
