Oh, I really like that! I don't think I want to know what the price is -- probably will shatter all my dreams!

A friend of mine has the Memory Craft 6600 and I thought that price was WAY out of my league. I can't imagine what this one will cost...probably more than my van!

The latest and graetest Bernina is over $12,000. The Janome 1100 was $7,000+ when it first came out. I'd guess this one is 8 or 9 thousand. I have an old Janome MC5700 that I bought second hand for $200.

I bought my Memory Craft 4000 brand new on sale for $800. back in 92 or 93 I think. It is only regular machine, not embroidery. But it does have 2 small alphabets in the stitches it has. Those account for 52 stitches, and I think it has 100 or more in all. Its never been in the repair shop. Only problems I have ever had were user origin. LOL..I am 100 % sold on Janome.
I really cannot imagine what this new one would cost.. I made the decision a long time ago that I did not need an embroidery machine at my age. Besides, I have no one to leave it too. Dgd loves making totes and pillows, but nothing else, and her little Singer from Target does those with no problem.
I like to look at them and keep up with the new ideas, though.

My Babylock Ellisimo is like that machine. We used my insurance settlement to pay for it last year for my birthday. I love my Ellisimo & am sewing more than ever.
