Any info any can share about this machine? A neighbor's dd has it and wants it gone. Not having much luck finding info on it. Sew-Classic? You out there? The serial # is K1024248. Apparently it works but needs a new cord. The belt needs replacing also.

Don't know anything about this machine. I do know that replacing a cord is very simple. If you want to buy a manual for the machine to learn how to use it, here are a few sources I've used to get manuals for the secondhand machines I've bought.

I don't have the room to do too much collecting of industrail machines.

Here's a free instruction manual

Appears to be a single needle lockstitch machine - requires 16x87 needles. max. speed 2200 spm

Thanks for the info, both of you. Appreciate the quick response, Sew-Classic. I found out what you two did and I also found out that according to the serial # the machine is from 1902!! Don't think I want to deal with this dinosaur. It also has a huge table with it. Even for free it doesn't seem worth it.

Thanks anyway. I really think all I need is a heavy duty portable.
