I think I broke it!

New postby bridesmom on Thu Dec 24, 2009 4:27 pm

Oh crapola! I just finished embroidering on my last Christmas gift, and took off the unit before shutting off the machine, and now it won't start up again. It has a grinding noise and a malfunction error. I'm just sick. This is my Innovis that cost me way too much money and I'm sure it's going to be a couple of hundred to fix it. DH took it into the shop this morning, but I won't see it now for a few weeks. I couldn't sleep last night, I kept dreaming about it over and over and over. I'm just praying it's a quick and easy fix, something like a 'reset computer' and not a major part. Stupid stupid me :brick: :brick:

How frustrating. Anytime, my machines go to shop for a cleaning or anything else, I can just about count on a $200+ repair bill. Hope that it isn't anything serious & you get your machine back quickly.

I just got the best news ever!! My machine had some thread tangled around a piece inside the machine, so it couldn't move and so it's just the cost of cleaning it out. How nice is that! I can go get it after work on Friday!!!

So very glad for you. I'd be miserable if my machine broke, too. I'm glad it was nothing major and you got such good news!
