Funny! :D That's how we felt here a couple of weeks ago. At least it's good for getting some sewing done. I wouldn't mind one more snow before spring gets here. :anxious: But only the kind that melts in a couple of days.
I hope it melts soon for you. :)
I'm creative. You can't expect me to be neat too.

The same pick could be used for us Northerners...but the bottom of the graph would read Month 1, Month 2, Month 3 & Month4... :brick:

Judy,
I thought about that. I'm from Indiana and remember some of those midwest blizzards. I told my daughter about the year that we didn't get a spring break AND we stayed in school a week longer because we had so many snow days in one school year. They had four days off this week. Our biggest problem was ice.

What does your city do when there's an ice storm? Is there a way to bust that stuff up?

Nope...they just use salt & sand! Lots of it. But now they don't spread as much salt as sand...for the environment. Here in Ottawa they suggest people stay off the roads or take the bus. But when we get ice it is usually only for a few hours and it either gets colder and changes to snow or gets warmer and changes to rain. The ice storm of '98 was the exception...and I hope it doesn't occur again or waits for another hundred years. This year we've been having a "good" winter. By good, I mean that we've been missing all the heavy snowfalls and have only had one short bout of freezing rain. Knocking on wood as the winter isn't over yet.

Judee,
you're making me feel better. I listened to everyone complain about the weather in Dallas this week (lots of cold weather state people where here for the super bowl). But really, I'm not sure what you could do about ice? I was out in my driveway trying to break it up with a shovel and that was really slow going.

I challenge all of those complainers who where here last week to visit us again in August and write about how we handle the heat!
