Theresa, Sent you my address, the weather hasn't been that bad, we are having snow right now, but it probably won't stay around for long, we haven't had enough snow for the snowmobiling to get started at all,

thanks again

Congratulations, Judy!!! Awesome! Still needed 2.

I think I remember when you did that, Judy. Wasn't that long ago.

Judy, that is exactly what I need to know, as I am starting to have holes between the tiles. Our grout is 31 or 32 years old, so I guess it is about time! Thanks for the info! But boy, does that look like a big job! Yuck!

Yeah, it was. I had a dremel and bought the bit to remove the grout. It was very dusty work...I wore a mask. Regrouting was not hard...just took a bit of practice to start then I got better at it. I don't have a window in the bathroom and the sealant was very smelly...I ran the bathroom fan and put a regular fan in the doorway and did it when the outside windows could be opened. The kind I got was a less toxic one...or so the store said. But all this was enough work that I'm gonna make sure that I do the resealing each year so I won't have to replace the grout again... :shame:

Congrats Judy ! I was still waiting for one - I think it might be easier to rip out the tiles and start again than regrout!

Yeah it might...but I didn't know how to rip out the tiles...and was worried that I would have to do gyproc too. Then there would be the expense of buying new tiles and figuring out how to install. Mine were perfectly good. So regrouting for me was the lesser of the evils. But enough work that I don't want to do it again...thus the resealing yearly... ;)

Congratulations Judy :applause: :applause: :applause: A great bingo, got me cleaning out a few nooks and crannies, thanks again for calling Theresa ;) We begin moving to the new office new week so I'll be cleaning both the old and the new spaces. Can't wait to see what 'forgotten treasures' are lurking after 8 years in the old office. Take care.
