Did everyone have Elmo? I'm up to four now. The 4th, huh? Can't forget to call my brothers. It's their 53 b'day today. Before my Mom died we still called them "the boys".

4 here too - you have to know that I am Beaker to my bosses Dr Bunsen Honeydew..we had science club after school today - Barmy! Two groups were designing a solar oven while 4 other groups were making crystals and molecular structures out of marshmallows and cocktail sticks. We were sticky.

Trivia question: Beaker the Muppet (not Beaker our very own lovable Jan) wears what kind of socks?
Jan, I've wanted to build a solar oven with my kids for a while. Would you be willing to share your source? Apparently there are ways to make one that doesn't take all day to cook an egg.

Contains a whole load of activities to do at home or school from the British Science Association for Science week. The solar oven pattern is in there. Don't know if it will work yet, we are still at the planning stage.
