Im in Perth Western Australia, a big hello to any other Perthonalities on this site. Drop by & say "hello"

Hi and Welcome, Catherine!

Glad you found us even though many of us here are second wives! :D  Doesn't matter as long as you love to sew.

I have a number of cousins in the Perth area, I think. Not in touch with them but they may still be there.

Hi Catherine, welcome to the group. What type of sewing do you like to do? Are you ready for Christmas?

Hi Catherine and Welcome.. Obviously , if you found the Second Wives site, you were looking for the Sew Whats New site.. This one was created specially for all of us who love to sew by a very nice couple when Mary decided to disband the S-W-N site.. Bob even arranged to transfer the old discussion threads ( with Mary's permission, of course) and they are archived here for our references, if we care to..
Lots of friends are here, and every sewing interest there is will find a home here and a welcome..

Welcome Catherine! I'm beginning to feel a bit attached to Australia as I seem to be collecting relatives from down under. My brothers wife and my nieces hubby are both Aussie!

mmmmm... It helps when you dont close the window on yourself when you're 1/2 way through replying!

Christmas was a bit of a blur. Over here Christmas is also the end of the school year and of course there are all those end-of-year school & related things to attend.
Im so glad its over!

Hi Marty.
I make clothes and like to sew homeware bits, cushions, ummm.... pillow cases, and lots of stuff I guess I would like to make but as yet havent, as Im just beginning to realise! Shameful.
I used to make a lot of my clothes & draft patterns too - but finding the time is difficult. Im trying to get back into it and arrange to have 1 day a week just for sewing, thats the idea anyway.
