euro hem

Hello everyone, I am from Huntsville.Ontario, Canada. :D I just recently started a blog site myself called Sew News is Good News. I enjoy having conversations about sewing. I believe I can help all of you with a euro hem. Do not go ahead and cut your jeans just yet! I will post it on my blogger as it is awkward to explain. So stay tuned for this. I will set up a link to my site. The information you are receiving about the How to is wrong. If done this way, there will be a tuck and it will look awful! all the best, Muskoka Rose

Muskoka Rose, welcome to this site. I've never heard of the Euro hem and I've been sewing for over 45 years. What exactly is it and why would someone use it?

Is that the one where you cut off the jean hem & sew it back on?

First time I had ever heard it called a euro hem. My DD almost always has to have her jeans shortened close to 6 inches. I just have always called it a jean's hem shortcut.
