I SAW a picture of a small wall hanging sized quilt that you made.

That is NOT a quilt. It is not quilted at all.
I just can't afford to quilt. I shudder when I think of bending over putting all those pins in to hold it together before you quilt. I wouldn't be able to straighten up again for a week.
Someday I might make a bed spread but it won't be quilted.
I do quilt pot holders and place mats upon occasion but they don't really count.

:D Quilting is great -just try it once and you will be hooked. :) That said, I don't do pins. I use 505 basting spray. Spread out your backing, spray, spread out your batting, spray, and spread out your pieced top. As long as you go slowly, and keep each section taut as you go, it works wonderfully! Then quilt away!!
Happy Sewing!

Ok MotherInLaw... now you have me wondering. Just how many sons do you have? And how many grandkids?

 I have three sons and they have been married a two times. The oldest son hasn't but the two others have been married twice each. I love my oldest sons ex and my youngest sons ex but the other two were selfish little witches that have caused pain to everyone. One of them called us all kinds of names, even called us trash and the police raided her house and now my son has custody of his daughter that they had together. Now who do you think is the trash. She was a pretty little girl on the outside but mean as the devil. Not a good Mother either. Long story but it's funny.

Hi Dorothy!

I knew that :D but then I am All Knowing!

BTW - I found a dog sweater pattern - simple for a Jack Russel but it need fab buttons to make it work. Sounds like a joint project - Lucy up for another sweater?

Why of course, Jan. She is always a fashion maven. And the cold weather is coming soon enough.
I have been quite busy myself while you were off enjoying a vacation.
Here is a link to a bag I made.
